Musicians

Keith Davidson

Keith Davidson is a lifelong musician, songwriter, and performer who began playing piano at age six, inspired by artists like Billy Joel and Elton John. Over the years, he has performed in several bands and is a founding member of The Band From Rattlecat Junction, a group known for its high-energy blend of country and classic rock with strong vocal harmonies. His songwriting is rooted in real-life experiences, focusing on themes of love, growth, and the journey through life. Today, Keith continues to create and evolve his music, combining traditional songwriting with modern AI-driven production to bring his stories to life.

Joey Stay

Joey has spent more than five decades chasing great songs across genres — from jazz band bass lines to guitar-driven rock and country stages across Arizona. His musical journey started at age 14 when his older brother Steve showed him how to play “Proud Mary” on the guitar. Up until then he had been trying his hand at the drums, but once he learned those first guitar chords, he was hooked. Through junior high and high school he expanded into playing electric bass in the school jazz band, while also singing tenor in both concert choir and madrigal groups. Bass soon became his primary instrument, and he went on to play in several bands covering everything from funk and rock to country and big band.

At age 26 Joey moved to Arizona, where he joined a trio as their bass player alongside keyboards and drums. Occasionally he would switch over to guitar during a set. The band liked what they heard and eventually said, “We want you on guitar full time — we’ll find another bass player.” That moment changed the direction of his musical path. From age 26 to today, guitar has been his main instrument, and he still enjoys performing a wide variety of styles. For Joey, exploring different genres keeps the music fresh and the passion alive.

Jack Arriaga

Been playing music for 40 years starting out in orchestra and the Phoenix boys choir then started playing in the bars as a result of a good friends neighbor who needed help figuring out how to use his new PA system. I went over during their band practice and the current bass player quit while I was there. Having been a country music fan most of my life I decided I would rent a bass a fill on for their upcoming gig. The rest as they say is history.

Greg Love

Greg Love has been playing drums around the state of Arizona most of his life.  He played full time through the 90’s with Copper Canyon, Western Skies, and Livewire; opening up for Hal Ketchum and Aaron Tippin along the way.  For the last 25+ years Greg has worked in law enforcement but kept his chops up filling in with a variety of bands and church worship teams.  Greg is excited to be back in the saddle playing with the talented guys from RCJ.
